The 1694 Valentine Whitman has not only survived for over 225 years, but existed without a comprehensive heating system, using only a few first floor a forced air grates and the fire places. Considering a complete heating and cooling system for the first time not only impacts the buildings original fabric, but also needs to be in proper balance with the building's efficiency and loss/gain.
